Latest Update...
I’ve made films, pop videos, light shows for raves and been a war correspondent, but before all that I was an engineering apprentice who evolved into a design engineer. Family stopped the needy, dangerous stuff, and so between training the next generation of cannon fodder and designing workflows, I’ve gone back to my roots.
During the ‘80s I worked for scooter racing teams, rode, and had a modicum of success. There’s only so much you can do with a Vespa so I finally succumbed to the dark side and got into bikes. From ex-army Can-Ams to Paris-Dakar BMs, trailies were my poison and still are. Having ‘consulted’ on a few of my good mate Jon’s projects, I started using my lathe (which I normally make watch cases on, but that’s another story) to knock up a few bits and bobs he couldn’t source through the usual channels.

I’m assuming that’s why you are here!

Building a custom motorcycle is fun, but never easy. It takes time, energy and determination to seamlessly integrate parts from multiple sources to form a good looking, safe package.

One area where amateur modifiers often struggle is to find a supplier for spacers cut to their own dimensions when fitting wheels from one machine to another. Sure, in the old days your local machine shop would run you up a set in their break for beer money, but these days very few seem to want, or can even be bothered, to help; This is where Taboulet comes in.

I will cut you a spacer for pretty much anything. You tell me the dimensions and I’ll make it for you to within a tolerance of 0.04 of a mm.

For the simplest of spacers all you need to supply is the following dimensions:

ID, OD, length and material, make sure your measurements are good (use callipers) because that’s what I’ll work to.

For anything with multiple steps of outside diameter, feel free to draw your own picture and send it to me for a quote. Prices start at 25 euros a spacer, plus postage to anywhere in the world.

I pride myself in work that is spot on, but it is only as good as your dimensions. If you are not sure of the exact length then maybe order a set with 1mm wider and 1mm thinner spacers so you can mix and match when doing the final build up.

I can also build your spacer in a range of materials for that extra custom look and feel; steel, brass, alloy or stainless for example. The outside can be finished with custom touches as well, knurling, brushing, polishing and groves or perhaps a gentle swirl or thread! Its your call... That's why this it’s called custom!

We are not limited to making only motorcycle wheel spacers, and can quickly quote for any of this type of work.
